Welcome to Beechworth Community Childcare Centre - 'We share the care’

The Beechworth Community Child Care Centre is a non-profit community based and managed centre. It is situated in a purpose built building located in the beautiful parks and gardens of the LaTrobe Campus on Albert Road.

Our Philosophy
We respect each child as an individual having unique abilities, interests, experiences, needs and rates ofdevelopment.

We believe that all children’s learning is fostered and extended by play. Our staff offer developmentally appropriate learning experiences in an environment which is stimulating, happy and secure.

We believe that it is the right of all children to experience high quality care regardless of gender, religious belief, family background and cultural identity.

We acknowledge parents as a child's primary caregivers and we respect their right to privacy and confidentiality.

Our Aims

To provide a warm, caring and positive environment for children.
To complement and extend the home environment and to work in partnership with families in providing quality care and education for their children.
To provide a program planned to meet the unique needs of each child and as appropriate to the stage of development.
To enhance self confidence and respect for others and to foster personal growth through challenging and fun activities.

Child Care Benefit is available to eligible families
Fees include the provision of all meals, snacks, nappies and program materials
We have accreditation with the National Child Care Accreditation Council as a centre providing high quality care
We are accredited with Lady Gowrie Children’s Centre for the Start Right Eat Right Program
We have policy of NO NUTS or NUT PRODUCTS to be brought into the centre
